I found this beautiful little API (application programming interface) called Retrievr.Click on the link, and you will be transported to a page with a small simple drawing screen on the left. Choose a tool size, and a color and make a simple mark on the drawing pad. Then wait.
Retrievr will search the public Flickr photo pool and come up with photos that it thinks match it a little. Really this is hypnotic. Draw a couple thin lines of colors, the photos will change as the new colors are added.
The pool it draws from is fabulous, the process fascinating and whole thing a great escape.
