Countdown: H-Day Two and M-Day Plus One

Ok, so my connection was a little funky yesterday and I apparently published a whole lot of repeats. When your internet connection comes and goes whenever someone in the neighborhood starts their microwave or uses a wireless phone, you can't be sure.

We actually accomplished everything we needed to yesterday. Yay! The oldsters are moved in and having to adjust to a new life; they are happily unpacking their stuff and finding homes for things. Hopefully by today they start making new friends.

Yesterday the weather was perfect. Today it will be about 10-15 degrees cooler, and getting worse tomorrow, so today we are going to have fun. We are headed to Bishop Hill, which began life as a Swedish community... the King of Sweden has even visited it. We shall walk around and look into the shops. In the past, we head there for the big family Thanksgiving celebration, but I doubt we'll be back here during a holiday time again.

We'll find the cafe that serves good pie and have a piece with a sandwich for lunch.

Tomorrow I empty this house out, and pack.

Check out my other blog: Deb's Daily Distractions where I'm writing about the importance of eye contact.
